The Torreguitart neighbourhood, built since the mid-1980s with rigorously aligned red brick blocks, was to be completed at one of its ends at one of the main intersections of Sabadell's ring road, along which it is largely built. The proposal is logically based on the continuity of the block, but with a "Z" break in such a way as to free up the sunny frontal space, open to the "peripheral disorder", away from the road junction and raised above the traffic in order to provide greater comfort and visual dominance over the surroundings.

Paved with the same red brick as the façade, it serves as a "square" and gateway to the shady "park" behind. The square is limited towards the beltway by a lower block in light brick that adapts to its scale and marks the end. The regulation of subsidised housing prevents nearly all changes. Small advances have been made here by means of installing the lift and creating openings in the façade to obtain sunny lobbies and landings and structuring the dwelling from the public to the private on accessing the interior.
