Cala House

(1)

The house is situated on a sloping plot of land with a distant horizon landscape which is the western cornice of Madrid as seen from Camarines. At ground level nothing of interest appears, but as we rise, the cityscape of a panoramic view of part of Madrid's western cornice becomes clearer. From the four towers on the left to the Madrid tower on the right. Beautiful by dint of curious.

Logically, it was decided to build a vertical house where the most public areas of the house will be at the top, to be able to frame and enjoy those wonderful views. Once the house is built, as if it were a musical instrument, the appropriate openings are made for the light to pass through it so that, after tuning the instrument well, we can show the movement of the solid light of the sun throughout the day.

Particularly beautiful will be the roof terraces, planted with jasmine and vines, which will frame this unique Madrid landscape with large horizontal openings. Vines and jasmine will also frame the porches where the lower openings open onto the garden.
