Respecting the historicist criteria of the nineteenth-century layout of the Plaza Elíptica, the project acquires a contemporary quality by generating a building front in the Plaza de Euskadi. By means of two blocks of ground floor and eight storeys flanking the tower, and its alignment parallel to the Deusto Bridge, the project is given the emblematic character of a singular location.

The project proposes in the resolution of the two buildings the through dwellings that improve their orientation, allow for cross ventilation and a larger surface area for natural lighting. There is a great typological versatility in the proposal of dwellings, with 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms in simplex and 2 and 3 bedrooms in duplex. The buildings are emptied from a certain floor upwards, providing them with spaces for private or semi-private use, generating visuals and drawing different and differentiated skylines towards the Plaza de Euskadi or towards the Campa de los Ingleses.

The volumetry is defined by the treatment of the external envelope, which is defined by full-height structural ribs clad in sulphurised brass that generate the access portico on reaching the ground. Thermal control with modular cladding, in order to control solar radiation and thermal losses, is achieved through the treatment and finishing of the skins.
