This particular case is that of a family that leaves the centre of Madrid because it is noisy and moves to an urban but quieter area. The street of your plot is precisely the noisiest in your area.

The house has been designed with a wide-ranging programme on a small plot. The exterior spaces not occupied by the building are intended to be integrated into it, fulfilling the missions of independence, exterior insulation and living space. No part of the floor should be left unserviced. Treatment must be total. The neighbourhood is very close to the perimeter. The views over the mountains are almost impossible (height limitation).

The dwelling is built inwards, turning around its own interior spaces. According to the particular ordinance of Puerta de Hierro, the enclosure of the plot must be with mature plinth and green hedge. Given the location of the plot (neighbouring the main traffic arteries in the area and the particular case of the client (absence of noise). An attempt is being made to solve the problem by reconciling and following the spirit of the ordinances. A factory plinth, a landscaped area and behind it a solid enclosure that does not attract attention from the outside. The main body is separated from the streets; it has a road access to the north and opens to the south onto three successive courtyards: the main courtyard, the middle courtyard with a swimming pool and the dormitory courtyard.

The toilet is placed parallel to this body, separating and isolating the whole from the street; its stepped roof is covered with flowers and the house looks over this vegetable step. The plant is quite elastic, and it has been phenycised to take into account that children grow and life changes; this gives rise to a series of combinations and forecasts that are difficult to explain.

The structure is made of metal, Viroterm floor slabs, plaster ceilings and Belroe and foamed plaster partition walls.

All the exterior cladding is tile, in different ranges, with a general denominator of dark tobacco.

Dark exteriors with brick and tile cladding and very white interiors, with red lacquered furniture, upholstered in fine fabrics in warm colours.

The exterior carpentry is made of varnished cedar, sometimes enamelled in white. Pearson sliding doors and windows.

The interior and exterior floors are always of dark stoneware, but of different qualities.

Adjustable blinds to the west; and bedrooms, bright white.

Very insistent and homogeneous gardening, many vines of different types and wild flowers in groups of the same colour. Some of these climbers are deciduous when their mission is to protect from the sun. The most commonly used is the mauve-flowered wisteria.
