The formal result of this first building depends to a large extent on its relationship with the proposal as a whole, so its justification will be linked to the culmination of both constructions. In the future, one will be indebted to the other: the Palace will form its own enclosure, understandable from the first glance, from which the Culture Centre will emerge, which in turn will be divided into multiple volumes, each one for a different activity, each one for a different person.

The magnificent plot where it is located, next to the sea, at the end of the bay and open to an autochthonous pine forest, responds in its rectangular part to the future auditorium, where it maintains continuity with the urban layout despite claiming its own garden; the part now built is attached to the main building and is introduced into the pine forest with the freedom of wanting to be part of the place, extending outwards the activities of the congresses.

This first phase therefore has a close relationship with its surroundings: its fragmented volumetry opens up to the forest, revealing its different uses, dissolves in the shade of the trees, and is inserted into the terrain, between retaining walls and the thick layer of vegetation that covers it. Three elements emerge from the roof and express the rehearsal and stage spaces. A large square volume around a courtyard houses the rest of the programme: classrooms, seminar spaces and the future cafeteria-restaurant.

The whole ensemble aims to recover the symbolic character of the intermediate places that are so genuine to the island of Ibiza, built with remnants, although transformed from popular architecture to the present day.

An interior that is exterior for the exhibition hall; the masonry that limits the boundaries of the landscape turned into a stack for the façade.
