The idea is to build a centre for the Valencian Community that will act as a seedbed for a series of new, technologically innovative companies from different sectors.

The project explores the relations between the interior and exterior space, the way in which the building is finally traversed as a support for a heterogeneous programme in which the different pieces: small semi-industrial warehouses, laboratories, offices, institutional premises and services are sewn together in a continuum built from the façades conceived as an abstract whole in which the construction of the different membranes constitutes the greatest effort, the set of façades becoming the formal expression of the building. Each end wall is reinforced on the inside by a long programme container, and it is precisely in the stitching together of all of them that the spatial sensation appears, the play of frontal and zenithal light, the ambiguity of the situation with respect to the exterior and the relationship with the landscape.

In this way, the staggered layout of the various buildings acquires strength and force in its urban implantation, at the crossroads between the avenue leading to the Grao and the future Castellón ring road. In their asymmetrical geometry, the buildings generally have a front part that contains the main entrances and the reason why they are presented to the city, and a rear part that organises the secondary entrances, the car parks and the unloading areas. Both pavements, grass in the former and asphalt in the latter, are conceived as continuous carpets until they meet the buildings.
