The recommendations of the functional programme and the characteristics of the land have given rise to a large, low building that blends into the agricultural landscape of the high plateau above the river Ebro and the remains of the walls that crown the town of Móra.

The hospitalisation units are located facing south or east, around landscaped courtyards to which the patients can access with gentle ramps and enjoy their presence from the rooms. The laundry, kitchen, boilers, etc., are located on the north façade, around an enclosed service courtyard and away from the general circulation of the hospital.

The rest of the hospital services occupy a compact block with a west-facing façade and facing interior courtyards with elevated, pitched roofs on struts. This three-storey longitudinal body, clad in white-painted brick, is the urban façade of the complex. In the inpatient units, the brownish colour of the brick, similar to that of the adjoining fields, is maintained.
