The Galician Museum of the Sea serves as a transition between land and sea, and is configured as a cape, half nature, half artifice, in this paradigmatic place on the coastline, close to the city of Vigo, and incorporates the estuary as another part of the project, undoubtedly the most important.

The Museum of the Sea of Galicia is thus conceived as a single and unequivocal spatial area, with its own identity, delimited partly by a perimeter wall and partly by the sea itself, and full in turn of smaller spaces, endowed with strong roots and personality, in which the most diverse uses that the museum programme envisages can be accommodated.
