Plot 21 of of El Bosque neighbourhood has a steep slope towards a 30-metre cliff where the sea breaks. The north-westerly wind is an almost constant violent presence that leaves no tree to grow unprotected. When a dry Castilian arrives there, he wonders why all the houses are built on the southern slopes, with their backs to the sea. What happens is that the sun is the most appreciated thing for the mountain people who build themselves a second home here, while the sea is for them a matter of course. "We, however, came from far away looking for the sea, the wind, the waves and so, despite going against the current, we decided to stay on 21".

Thirty minutes walk to the beach of Langre and 10 minutes to the eastern end of the beach of El Puntal, which closes the bay of Santander at the other end. Cantabrian horizon from Cabo Mayor in the west to Cabo de Ajo in the east. The building is enclosed within a prism with a square base (22x22) and a height of three and a half metres.

The green, walkable roof is the most visible facade of the house. The housing programme is developed on the first floor, with a ground floor for garage, installations, storeroom, porch and Sotavento garden.
