The new Communications headquarters in León is a functional building built with modern means. Possibly no more. The aim was to make a cube that functions and that allows this functioning to change over time; structural simplification and interior clarity will contribute to this.

The clarity! light and more light! Two touches of known and well-known representativeness will add to the very quiet parallelepiped the prestige that a public building deserves. The attempt to place new materials in new constructions will always exist. In León, Robertson sheet metal, which is used here in Spain for hypermarkets, was used in a singular, important building, and the result is acceptable. Externally, for having painted the sheet metal in the colour Leon, and inside, because delicacy humanises what sensibility, in principle, seems to reject or demand.
