The plot is located on a south-west sloping hillside that opens visually to the mouth of the Pontevedra estuary.

It is a landscape of meadows and vineyards dotted with single-family houses still in a proportion whereby they only dot the masses of vegetation. The plot is small in size, its boundaries are two roads and due to its hillside location it is possible to dramatically reduce the scope of our surroundings or project them to the faded horizon line of the sea if we are on the lower or upper level of the plot. On the other hand, tourism in the area during two months of the year means that exposure to the distant surroundings of the plot has to be controlled or moderated during this period. The project is based on exploiting the conditions of the plot and its surroundings to the maximum and generating a mechanism capable of multiple flexibilities of use, character, presence, exposure, thermal and environmental responses, etc. The key lies in the definition of a plane that operates as both the floor and the ceiling of the habitable space, which has a very diverse character depending on its situation on one side or the other. These habitable spaces are built according to the character of the foreseeable use, and we are not talking about function but about mode, a character which is inevitably affected by weather conditions and the increase in traffic on the roads during part of the year. The dwelling is therefore not understood in a restricted way but rather as the sum of outdoor, intermediate and enclosed spaces. The closed volume is located on the upper level as it will logically be the centre of life  outside the summer months and is understood as a single space designed and turned towards the surroundings. It is enclosed by a multi-layer façade with a single material on the outside, corrugated polycarbonate, which is folded on the inside in a variable way according to the predominant character of the portion of the volume it envelops and its orientation. The north-facing façade is made of thermo-clay clad with perly plaster, high-density sprayed insulation, and polycarbonate cladding. On the south and west façades, the corrugated polycarbonate is ventilated with cellular polycarbonate, and is replaced by glass in the openable parts which open the interior to the landscape. The roof is insulation only and is made of double uralite with polystyrene in between. The plane that supports the closed volume is extended to form a deck that serves as an intermediate space and builds under it a place where much of the summer activity will take place, as it will be sheltered from the summer heat, is large enough to accommodate more users, and its position on the lowest level of the plot increases its degree of intimacy. The part of the façade that defines the terrace is transparent and openable so as to allow for the addition of space.
