In a group of farmhouses whose centuries are not remembered, but can be found, a swimming pool is to be built for the enjoyment of all those who come in search of peace in these rural surroundings. Many constructions, barns, the farmhouse, the river, the mill. Beyond its immediate surroundings, the whole general environment is of plausible genuineness.

The swimming pool does not appear, but a reservoir does, which with its morphology and dimensioning establishes topographical and empathetic links, not only in its tangencies that extend.

The steel, whose presence and colour is well integrated, appears at the limits of the project and inside the white aggregate concrete vessel, in the form of a solidified water lily, or a poetic leaf that refuses to withdraw.

The reservoir, thus understood, nods to the natural water furrows that the horses accept, as well as to the stone walls of the existing terraces. The aim is to see how a swimming pool takes on a different character and resembles the reservoirs, natural water containment, for irrigation or watering.

It has a gentle slope with shallow depth, with an access beach, always thinking more about play and water, rather than sport and swimming. And in winter it is not a swimming pool in disuse, but always and in any season of the year it appears as a reservoir .
