The proposed building starts at the existing house and extends towards the opposite end of the plot, recognising the traces, memories, pre-existing images with their folds and overhangs. The park gives us the clue: it is a child's playground, not a place of remembrance. It is the place of the first house, a secret, joyful world: the islands, the water, the bridge, the trees? The house floats among the trees, over the lake... the same trees that protect and define it.

The building has a ground floor plus four floors, which, due to the slope of Paseo de Urrutia, end up being five on the corner with Paseo de Fabra i Puig.

The contact of the new building with the existing building is only through the party wall so as not to change the façades of the listed building. The new building is the same height as the existing building in the contact area.

The project integrates and transforms the upper part of the park's grandstand into a staircase leading to the building.

The semi-basement floor houses the car park and the electricity transformer station.
