Viewpoint 360º. Regeneration of public spaces in the suburb of the castle, phase II, in Álora.

Alora, its castle and its suburb, rich in tangible and intangible stimuli, seeks to regenerate its public spaces. Our general proposal "Tapestry e: 1/1" is a sort of stone carpet that helps to walk, look, discover and experience the landscape.

Phase II is the Mirador 360º. At a bend around the Cerro de las Torres, coinciding with Station VIII of the Way of the Cross, a stop along the way brings the landscape closer to the visitor. The paving is a vibrant carpet of different stone textures and the railing seeks its "invisibility", it is barely made of air.

Location within the whole project - WaterScales

From the Mirador, the landscape of Álora is within easy reach of the traveller. On the one hand, the valleys of the Guadalhorce basin. On the other, landmarks of Álora; the chapel of Jesús Nazareno, the Moorish castle and the town presided over by Mount Hacho.

The belvedere is vibrant and aerial thanks to the succession of bars and bars. Its railing is informative and interpretative; it contains historical data and points out places of interest to the traveller. The materials seek their constructive sincerity. We would like to have captured the essence of the rich legacy of the Aloreño cultural landscape.
