Works at Bellver Castle

Protection of the round, and thus the walls of the moat, with a pavement "necklace of wavy extended hair"; each wave is made up of 35 different pieces of marés. Time has already blurred their age.

On this "hair" float: the ancient pavements to support cannons; a staircase with four steps of the scarpastorta type; another staircase with a raised marés railing-parapet, whose steps seem to have appeared when the fragments of the pavement waves were stepped on and sunk one after the other; channels scratched into the pavement lead the water to the gargoyles which spit it into the moat.

The ogival vaults of the guardhouse cover the public toilets, with a door cut into pieces like a Jujolian altarpiece, and giant tiles on the screen walls, fragments of medieval banners. The former doors to the rooms of the Municipal Museum leading to the central courtyard have been senselessly cut off as they are now unnecessary.

Inside the rooms, the steps cut at 45º in the radial rammed earth walls are protected with brass plates. To reinforce the roof of the former quarries in the mine, located 50 m below the castle, two oval columns measuring 13 x 9 m and 5 m in height were built. The quarry had been a warehouse for judicial evictions, with some "Citroën DS cars" parked for good, remnants of 20th century civilisation.
