This work is located at the end of a small street that ends in stairs, like so many others on the western slope of the Mauror hill. At the top, there are the Bermejas towers and the Carmen Blanco, and at the bottom, the Campo del Príncipe. The whole complex forms the Realejo quarter, of Jewish origin, one of the oldest in the city of Granada. The steep topography, with up to 14 metres of unevenness within one block, allows the carmenes and the houses of the neighbourhood to take root overlooking the Vega de Granada and the Sierra Nevada.

The result of an experimental project is the construction of eight dwellings for a residents' cooperative around a garden, whose wisteria and virgin grapevine join the adjoining gardens by climbing over the adobe and brick wall that separates them and whose floor is perforated with an orderly weave that returns rainwater to the earth and which, in some points, change size to become tree wells. Due to the slope of the hillside, the garden is at a lower level than the pedestrian access, so that the ground floor flats have views of the Sierra Nevada or the domes of the city.
