The project creates an area of access and separation from the pre-existing school by creating an elongated courtyard in the form of a street from which the complex is accessed. This organism of classrooms and spaces, a sort of cluster, connects with the three original classrooms of the infant school.

The whole complex is organised around a large pre-existing eucalyptus tree, an element that contributes to the identity of the school's open spaces. The tree thus serves as a spatial and geometrical reference for the arrangement of the classrooms: they all face each other and enhance the free play space, while accentuating the space itself as a centre for complementary outdoor education. The coexistence of classrooms, educational community and free space is the aim of this work.
