Architecture as nature The new Faculty of Health Sciences of San Jorge University is located on a university campus on the outskirts of Zaragoza. This is a rural campus, with a sparse nature. The neighbouring buildings express the will of a contemporary architecture, which uncovers that little bit of nature. The faculty of health sciences then decides to be part of that nature, leaving behind urban or architectural norms. The new faculty renounces being just another building, to become part of a new place. Architecture is thought of as part of a new nature.

The programme is organised in three concave lines. The white and scaly strokes unfold on the campus as part of its landscape. It is mineral in nature. Inside, on two floors, there is a programme of classrooms and laboratories for teaching and research. On the underside of these three lines is a large room open to the sky. All the corridors giving access to the different laboratories and classrooms lead to it. From this hidden room you can access the three outline. Inside, the lines look at each other and at those who occupy it.
