A ceramic house, located on the outskirts of the city of Valencia between the sea and the mountains. A "humble dwelling to the max" that owes its form to something that is only a part of it, the ceramic piece (240 x 115 x 90) in its natural, material state. The house is resolved compositionally with a rectangular, refined and forceful volume.

Outside, there is an outdoor porch that protects us from the sun, and a pool for cooling off on a ceramic podium. A house exposed to the climate and sovereign of the place. It is as simple as this. Space is structure and structure shapes space. The structure is lintelled to reveal a light, airy interior, made up of eight equal enclosures. A thick ceramic plane in semi-darkness that, barely held in the air, floats above us, conveying a certain idea of lightness despite its material heaviness.

The sliding panels compartmentalise the rooms while at the same time dissolving them into a unitary, continuous and horizontal interior. In this way, the space we inhabit, painted white, is confined between two ceramic worlds: the lower one that paves the space, and the upper one that delimits and delimits it. The organisation of materials and the construction solutions adopted prioritise optimum energy performance. It is, above all, a dwelling that vindicates the "artisan", in which technique is vindicated against technology and in which the idea of craft, of "doing", is recovered.
