A few kilometres from Bera, Landaburu Borda, a small traditional building perched on the hillside, overlooks the breathtaking distant landscape of the Navarrese mountains. The fact of intervening in this exceptional site is an exercise in respect for the fragile existing building and, above all, for the mystical force of the Navarrese mountain, rich in stories and legends.

It requires a rural house programme with a few rooms to be housed in the existing building and a large living area with kitchen that we will bury in the mountain, becoming part of it, as if it had already been there before the construction of the Borda. All in concrete and wood. Sheltered inside the mountain, as if in a cave, we will observe the magnificent landscape that opens up before us.
