Seven dwellings in La Alberca, Murcia

-Channel the wadi that crossed the plot with enormous generosity, forming a channel eight times larger than that corresponding to a return period of 500 years.

-Studyable maximum, which totally eliminates the effects of possible flooding from the small channel that relieves the terrain.

-To place part of the building on the riverbed to free up more land for the garden and improve sunlight and views, and to move the development away from the east wall to reduce the effect of the lower level of the starting point of the houses with respect to the access streets.

-To give the building the maximum permitted height, emphasising the stair towers to reinforce the emerging vertical aspect. This is appropriate because of the elevation problem mentioned above.

-Minimise the effect of semi-detached dwellings through deep grooves between them that individualise them.

-Use the compulsory five-metre separation from the rear boundary to isolate the road access.

-Make the swimming pool a large river that crosses the complex, forcing the passage to the dwellings via three bridges to give the whole plot a playful feel.

-Use the large eucalyptus tree as a reference for the composition.
