Tram stop in Alacant

There is NO distinction between finish and structure, or between walls and roof. It is an isotropic material in its design and construction. 800 circular perforations lighten and at the same time provide resistance to normal stresses. Light and air pass through their pores, softening the shade and providing a breeze in the summer months while generating less wind resistance. At night they become two powerful lamps that directly illuminate the platform.

The benches are placed next to the paths, allowing the user to wait for the tram in contact with the vegetation, gently illuminating the route.

The holes reduce weight as they increase resistance to normal stresses and also reduce wind pressures between surfaces. At night the boxes are transformed into two giant lamps. The benches extend into the garden close to the vegetation and paths, creating a public place that overlaps the silence of people sitting and the movement of people walking.
