Building a winery for the private production and consumption of wine in a unique environment - the start of a valley, at the foot of the mountain in a protected area - is the origin of the project.

In this area there are buildings of different types, including a chapel where the slope begins. On the road that connects them all there is a covered, depressed section, from which hang, buried under the vines, like a comb, the cellar rooms. It is not a single enclosure but a promenade that allows the discovery of different spaces whose undulating route, in plan and section, transforms their dimension.

The inertia of this excavated environment is used to avoid any energy consumption in its environmental qualities, whose singular perception is the result of its spatial geometry and its materials - steel and stones - which envelop the visitor in an underground, cool, isolated world, where you can feel and taste another time.
