The Castellón Museum of Fine Arts is organised around a landscaped cloister belonging to the old Serra Espadá school. The museum programme is structured into four distinct areas: public, semi-public, work and storage. These areas, in turn, are organised into three clearly differentiated buildings.

The construction that houses the halls is a stacking of floors of equal dimensions, creating a diagonal of double-height spaces that runs the length of the building. The museum is built with a white concrete structure and façades of recycled cast aluminium panels.
