In many ways this is a project that shares the logic of a Matryoshka doll. Not only in the more literal physical sense, where one is incorporated into the other, but also in a temporal sense, where one is given within the other.

The starting conditions set the stage for this condition: an emergency project, the Red Bull Music Academy (RBMA), Madrid, 2011. The RBMA is an annual, nomadic music event. Due to the earthquake and subsequent Fukushima disaster, what should have been the 2011 Tokyo EWWR had to move to a new location with less than five months to run.

The RBMA marks the beginning of the Nave de la Música's programme dedicated specifically to sound creation and research. From the installation created, and given its experimental nature, what is built is proposed as a temporary structure based on criteria of adaptability and reversibility that facilitate total or partial reconfigurations of the space over time.
