Resilience. A dynamic balance

This edition of Arquia/Próxima is framed in the reflection around this idea of dynamic equilibrium with the aim of proposing different resilient processes that must have a global implication.

Far from seeking competitive adaptation, this involvement will consist of a preventive and transformative task, identifying the changing circumstance and interpreting the nature of the change. One of the keys lies in differentiating chance from causality and triggering strategic mechanisms based on causality, not as an immediate response to a chance conflict but with a leap backwards (resilio), as a response to its cause.

The jury particularly valued the innovative and committed response to the social, environmental and territorial conditions in which it is inserted. The inclusion, diversity and sustainability factors of the proposal. The balanced equilibrium between constructed, experimental or ephemeral, and theoretical practices. The demonstration of the typological and geographical diversity of professional practice in the current context. The coherence and consistency of all the works presented by the same studio.
