ORDER of 23 November 1948, resolving the National Architecture Competition for the current year.
"Hon. Mr.:
Having regard to the file on the resolution of the National Architecture Award corresponding to the present year; and Having regard to the fact that by Ministerial Order of 23 February last the aforementioned National Award was announced, the theme of which was the project for a mountain chapel with annexed guest house, offering a prize of 25,000 pesetas and a runner-up prize of 6,000 pesetas. It being understood that by Ministerial Order of 19 July of the following year, a jury was appointed to judge this Competition, made up of Mr. Modesto López Otero, Mr. Pascual Bravo and Mr. José Yarnoz Larrosa; It being understood that after the corresponding procedure and the detailed examination of the three projects presented, the Jury unanimously agreed to propose awarding the prize of 25,000 pesetas to the project indicated with the number 1, of which Mr. José Antonio Corrales Gutiérrez is the author; and the second prize of 6,000 pesetas to the one presented by Mr. Francisco Lucini Bayod, indicated with the number 2; Considering that all the requirements indicated in the Ministerial Order of 23 February last have been fulfilled, this Ministry has resolved:
1. To approve the unanimous proposal of the Jury of the National Architecture Award of the current year and consequently to award the prize of 25,000 pesetas to José Antonio Corrales Gutierrez, for his work presented in this Competition and which appears under number 1; and the runner-up prize of 6,000 pesetas to Francisco Lucini Bayod, for his project outlined under number 2.
2. That the amount of the aforementioned sums be paid from the credit consigned in chapter one, article two, group six, concept 16, sub-concept three, of the current budget of the Department, of which expenditure has been reported by the Accounting Section of this Ministry on the last 27 January, and by the General Intervention of the State Administration on the following 14 February, to be drawn on the Central Treasury and in the name of the authorised agent of National Competitions, Mr. Andrés Gordillo González.
