ORDER of 31 December 1956, resolving the National Architecture Competition for the current year.

"Hon. Mr.:

Having regard to the file on the resolution of the National Architecture Award corresponding to the current year, it being understood that by Order of 4 September last the express national competition was announced, with a free theme, offering a prize of 15,000 pesetas and a runner-up prize of 8,000 pesetas; As a result, after the corresponding procedure, the majority of the Jury appointed to discern the prizes in this competition proposes awarding the offered prize of 15,000 pesetas to the work "Colegio Mayor Santo Tomás de Aquino", whose authors are José Garcia de Paredes and Rafael de la Hoz, and declaring the announced runner-up prize of 8,000 pesetas to be deserted. This Ministry, in view of the above proposal, has seen fit:

1. Approve it, awarding the prize in the form and amount detailed therein.

2.To order that the amount of the prize awarded be paid from the credit consigned in chapter three, article four, group seven, concept 15, sub-concept b), of the current budget of this Department, whose expenditure has been reported by the Accounting Section of the Ministry on 21 April of the current year, and by the Delegate Intervention of the Treasury, on 28 of the aforementioned month, the appropriate payroll being formulated by the Authorisation of this Department,
