In accordance with the decision of the Jury and having completed the established procedures, it has been agreed to award the 2001 National Architecture Award of the Ministry of Public Works to José Antonio Corrales Gutiérrez "for his professional and academic career, homogeneous and constant, his rigour in the craft of building from the world of culture, maintained throughout his professional life, in which he has been able to reconcile the social, economic, aesthetic and technological aspects of Architecture, representing our architectural culture with extraordinary brilliance."
