ORDER of 4 December 1951, resolving the National Architecture Competition for the current year.

"Hon. Mr.:

Having regard to the file on the resolution of the National Architecture Competition for the current year; and Whereas, by Order of 26 June last, the aforementioned National Competition was announced, whose subject was a preliminary project for a Centre for the restoration of works of art and archaeological objects, offering a prize of 15,000 pesetas and a runner-up prize of 8,000 pesetas; Whereas. after the corresponding procedure, the Jury, presided over by Mr. Luis Moya Blanco, with Mr. Francisco Iñiguez Almech and Mr. Fernando Chueca Goitia as members, unanimously agreed to propose that the announced prize of 15,000 pesetas be awarded to the work that appears in the catalogue under number 2, authored by Mr. Fernando Higueras and Mr. Rafael Moneo, and that the runner-up prize of 8,000 pesetas offered be declared void. This Ministry, in view of the above proposal, has seen fit:

1. To approve it in its entirety, awarding the prize announced in the manner and amount detailed therein and declaring the runner-up prize void.

2. That the amount of the prize to be awarded be paid from the appropriation entered in chapter 400, article 410, numbers 416-348, section 2, of the current budget of this Department, the expenditure of which was reported by the Accounting Section of the Ministry on 27 February last and by the Delegate Intervention of the Treasury on 1 March next, with the appropriate payrolls being drawn up by the Authorising Officer of this Ministry.
