Arts and Crafts School

ORDER of 31 December 1955, resolving the National Architecture Award for the current year.

"Hon. Mr.:

Having regard to the file on the resolution of the National Architecture Award for the current year: and Having regard to the Order of 20 July of last year, the aforementioned National Award was announced, the theme of which was a project for a building to be used as a School of Arts and Artistic Trades, offering a prize of 15,000 pesetas and a runner-up prize of 8,000 pesetas. The Jury, chaired by Mr. Secundino Zuazo Ugalde, with Mr. Luis Felipe Vivanco Bergamin and Mr. Carlos de Miguel González as members, unanimously agreed to propose awarding the announced prize of 15,000 pesetas to the project by Mr. Juan Moya, and to declare the runner-up prize of 8,000 pesetas void. This Ministry, in view of the above proposal, has seen fit to:

1. Approve it in its entirety, awarding only the prize and in the manner detailed therein.

2. To provide that the amount of the prize to be awarded shall be paid from the appropriation allocated in chapter three, article four, group seven, concept 15. sub-concept a) of the budget of this Department, the expenditure of which has been reported by the Accounting Section of the Ministry on 27 July of the current year and by the Delegate Intervention of the Treasury on 28 July of the aforementioned month, with the appropriate payrolls being drawn up by the Authorising Officer of this Ministry.
