"Hon. Mr.:

Having regard to the minutes of the Jury of the National Architecture Award, dated 3 of the current month, made up of Messrs. Mr. Modesto López Otero, Chairman, and the Members Mr. Domingo Barnes and Mr. Joaquín Roig: In the aforementioned minutes, the Jury unanimously proposed that the prize of 5,000 pesetas be awarded to the author of project number 4, with the slogan "Vida" (Life), by Mr Alfonso Jimeno Pérez, and the Mention, endowed with 1,000 pesetas, to the author of project number 3, with the slogan "Virginia", by Mr José Maria Muguruza: Considering that all the formalities and rules of this Competition have been complied with and that the resolutions have been adopted unanimously, HM the King (whom may God preserve) accepting the above-mentioned proposal, has decided as follows: 1. That the prize of 5,000 pesetas be awarded to the author of project number 4, the slogan "Vida" (Life), by Alfonso Jimeno Pérez. 2. That the Mention, endowed with 1,000 pesetas, be awarded to the author of project number 3, "Virginia", by José Maria Muguruza. 3. That the aforementioned amounts be paid to the interested parties, in the appropriate manner, by the Authorisation of this Ministry, from the funds that have been released to it for this service, from Chapter 11, Article 3, Item 4 of the current Budget.
