Children's theatre in public park

ORDER of 31 December 1959, resolving the National Architecture Competition of the aforementioned year.

"Hon. Mr.:

Having regard to the file on the resolution of the National Architecture Award of the current year: and Resulting that by Order of 7 August last the aforementioned national competition was announced, the theme of which was a project for a children's theatre, offering a prize of 15,000 pesetas and a runner-up prize of 8,000; Resulting that, after the corresponding processing. the Jury, chaired by Mr. Modesto López Otero, with Mr. Pascual Bravo Sanfeliu and Mr. Francisco Javier Saenz Oíza as members, unanimously agreed to propose awarding the announced prize of 15,000 pesetas to the project shown in the exhibition under number 7, authored by Mr. Carles Sobrini and Mr. Emilio García de Castro; and the runner-up prize of 8,000 pesetas to the project shown under number 2, also carried out in collaboration with Mr. Pedro Capote, Mr. Fernando Higueras, Mr. José Serrano Súñer and Mr. José Fernández Ordóñez. This Ministry, in view of the above proposal, has seen fit:

1st To approve it in full, awarding the prizes in the manner and amount detailed therein.

2nd. To provide that the amount of said prizes shall be paid out of the appropriation consigned in chapter four, article one, group seven, concept 14, of the current budget of this Department, the expenditure of which has been reported by the Accounting Section of the Ministry on 1 April last and by the Delegate Intervention of the Treasury on 3 of the same month, the appropriate pay slips having been drawn up by the Authorising Officer of this Ministry.
